Welcome to Golf Circle. By downloading or using the Golf Circle app (the "Service"), you agree to these terms of use. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

Golf Circle is a mobile app that connects golfers near each other, based on their level, location, and preferences, so they can play together. Golf Circle is an introduction service: meetings and rounds arranged through the app are your sole responsibility.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Golf Circle. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this age requirement and that you provide accurate, up-to-date information.

3. Your account and profile

You are responsible for the accuracy of your profile information and photos, and you warrant that they belong to you and are appropriate. You can sign in with Apple or Google; these services are used for identification and account recovery.

4. Rules of conduct

By using Golf Circle, you agree not to:

create fake profiles or impersonate others;
post illegal, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, or inappropriate content;
solicit other members for commercial or fraudulent purposes;
collect other members' data without their consent.

Zero tolerance

No abusive, discriminatory, hateful, harassing, or inappropriate content or behavior is tolerated on Golf Circle, without exception.

You can report or block any profile, message, or post directly in the app. Every report is handled within 24 hours: the content is removed and the offending user is banned from the platform, without notice if necessary. Serious cases are, where applicable, referred to the relevant authorities.

5. "Private Circle" subscription

Golf Circle offers an optional paid subscription, "Private Circle," which unlocks additional features (for example, seeing who liked you and advanced filters).

Type: auto-renewing subscription.
Duration and price: monthly or annual, at the price shown in the app at the time of purchase (may vary by region and promotions).
Billing: payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account when you confirm the purchase.
Renewal: the subscription renews automatically for the same period unless you turn it off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. The renewal amount is charged within the 24 hours before the period ends.
Manage and cancel: you can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period.
License agreement: use is also governed by the standard store license agreement (on iOS, the Apple Standard EULA at apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula).

6. Intellectual property

The Service, its brand, design, and content are owned by Golf Circle. You keep the rights to the content you post, but you grant Golf Circle a limited license to display it as part of running the Service.

7. Account deletion

You can delete your account and all your data at any time from the app: Settings → Account → Delete my account. Deletion is immediate and permanent.

8. Liability

The Service is provided "as is." Golf Circle is not a party to exchanges between members and cannot be held responsible for interactions, meetings, or rounds arranged through the app. To the extent permitted by law, Golf Circle's liability is limited to the amount you may have paid over the last twelve months.

9. Changes

These terms may change. If there is a material change, we will let you know in the app. Continued use of the Service means you accept the updated terms.
